Come and explore the vast possibilities in creating adornments from beading on a loom.
In this beginner’s workshop, Jesse Haviland, local Santa fean craftsmaker and artisan
will take you on a fun exploration into learning to bead on a loom and express a
personal symbology that you can adorn yourself in and gift to others.
We will start out with a brief history of, “The Bead.” And go into an approach to creating
your own design. You will leave with a grounded knowledge of bead looming that can
be taken into future creations. This craft is meditative, relaxing, and so much fun in
workshop settings.
All looms and materials will be provided. Our aim is to have you come away with a small
bracelet piece that you can take with you and to see the possibilities of incorporating
this craft into other places in your life. It’s a great way to relax and kick back on a
Sunday afternoon and create some beauty.
